Professional Dog Trainer
Welcome! I'm a professional retriever trainer (licensed and insured) with a passion for developing confident, dependable gun dogs and successful hunt test competitors. As an avid duck hunter and dedicated competitor in AKC and HRC hunt tests, I bring real-world experience and proven training methods to every dog I work with.
Whether you're looking for a well-mannered hunting companion, preparing for your first hunt test, or striving for advanced titles, I offer personalized retriever training, board-and-train programs, and hunt test coaching designed to help you and your dog reach your goals.
My training emphasizes clear communication, consistency, conditioning (operant) and building a strong partnership between handler and dog.
Every dog has unique potential, and I'm committed to helping each one succeed—both in the field and at the line. I look forward to helping you develop a capable retriever that performs with confidence and enthusiasm.
Retriever Training

Upland (flushing dogs) Training
Level 1

Level 2

Obedience Training
- No jumping
- No leash pulling

Facility
- individual 5 x 10 foot kennels
- 16 x 110 foot exercise/training run
- located on 80 acres - fields, wooded, technical water
Boarding
- Space available basis
- Large dogs only
- Priority given to previous clients
- Private 5 x 10 foot kennel
- Yard time daily
- $33 per night - one night minimum stay required
Requirements
Prior to drop off, proof of vaccination for Bordetella, Rabies, DHLP, and Parvo is required.
At drop off, provide food and flea/tick/worm medication for duration of stay.
